Meet the EmpathIQ Team

Muj Choudhury is a seasoned enterprise software exec with over two decades of enterprise software experience. Muj has helped to grow and sell two software start-ups – selling to Israeli telecom giant Comverse and enterprise giant, Oracle respectively. Muj’s passion remains in the transformational impact of technology and the global impact of his work.

Robbie is an experienced entrepreneur and has over 10 years experience in SaaS software product management and UX design. Robbie heads up EmpathIQ’s Product Strategy, Product Management, Product Design, as well as NLP/AI Research, Development and Productisation.

Professor Wooldridge currently serves as Head of Computer Science at the University of Oxford, and a Senior Research Fellow at Hertford College. Professor Wooldridge not only offers decades of world-class academic experience to our Data Science teams, but also provides international exposure for our leading AI technologies. 

Professor Tingting Mu is a Senior Lecturer in Machine Learning at the University of Manchester. In her role as Lead Scientist at EmpathIQ, Professor Mu oversees the development and application of VoiceIQ’s proprietary waveform technology.

Dr Xia Cui, is a research associate at the University of Manchester and works full time at EmpathIQ, leading the development EmpathIQ’s Vulnerability Detection technology. Dr Cui works closely with Professor Mu and Dr Hanley, as well as the wider VoiceIQ engineering team.

Dr Terry Hanley is the Associate Director of Research (impact) for the School of Environment, Education and Development and a Reader in Counselling Psychology within the Manchester Institute of Education. Dr Hanley advises the Data Science team on the real world application and implications of EmpathIQ’s real-time Vulnerability Detection. 

Sam leads EmpathIQ’s Marketing and Operations and is focussed on cultivating EmpathIQ’s brand to be the recognised leader in the vulnerability detection space. 

Sam is a University of Southampton graduate and an experienced online entrepreneur with a passion for creating AI-for-good software.
